As you overlook mountain rice paddies from this friendly and casual open-air restaurant, you can choose from a poster-size menu of delicious Thai dishes. Any of the many hearty stir-fries and spicy soups will do the trick. But I most recommend the savory curry made with crabs dipped in a sweet and sour sauce and the tam long krop: a unique dish of crispy, deep-fried gourd. This is a great place to fill up cheaply after trekking.
