About

Baan Chinpracha is one of 14 Sino-Portuguese mansions still standing in Phuket. Some of the mansions are now privately owned and others have fallen into disrepair, so visiting the stunning, well-maintained Baan Chinpracha is definitively a treat. Only the first floor of the house is open to the public and has been refurbished to look exactly like it did a century ago. In the kitchen, you'll find cooking utensils and heavy hardwood furniture, while the semi-enclosed patio features a pond and a covered corridor. Don't forget to look at the photos on the walls. They're authentic to the period and tell the story of the house and town.
