Built in 1480, it is a highly revered religious site. Dedicated to Baba Reshi, a Muslim scholar and Saint, who lived during the reign of the erstwhile king of Kashmir, Zain-ul-Abidin. Baba reshi was a revered member in the court of the monarch. Here you will get a glimpse of the 15th century Persian and Mughal architectural styles with some remarkable wood carvings inside the mosque. One of the sacred shrines in the whole state,  Baba Reshi Shrine attracts a lot of devotees from all region, visiting the sacred monument to ofer their prayers. Sitting amidst lush green lawns, the surroundings provide a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The garden around the shrine is huge enough to accommodate thousands of people at a time. You can see the tall spires of the mosque from a distance and access it by means of sledges, horses and field chutes.
