Bagamoyo Kaole Ruins Walk

Walk around Kaole Ruins and imagine the ancient mosques that once stood here. The archeological site hosts the ruins of two stone mosques, dating from the 13th to 16th century. Around them lie numerous tombs of various sizes and shapes, as well as ruins from the Shirazi settlement that once occupied the area. Onsite museums house artifacts unearthed from the site.
