Other areas of the garden feature herbaceous borders, a fountain and pergola with stunning views of the Knockmealdown Mountains and the famous Vee Pass. A pathway meanders to a walled area where a large collection of shrubs and trees flourish. The north facing 'front lawn' has many island beds with a large array of shrubs, perennials, roses, grasses and trees - including handkerchief, tulip, judas and many others. The Viburnum walk leads to another world where nature is at its best, and the lake is home to water hens, wild duck and other wildlife.
