This attractive lough is stocked regularly with up to 3000 takeable brown and rainbow trout and 5000 yearlings. On the south side, the bank shelves and wading should not be attempted. Fishing stands have been erected on the west side. An anglers pathis provided and anglers must use the only official entrance which is off the old Lisburn-Ballynahinch Road.
