About an hour's drive from Bangkok, Ban Rabian Nam is a wonderful Thai restaurant. Its English name, appropriately, is Riverside Treehouse Cafe. It is directly next to the Chao Praya River - the seating is entirely outdoors but covered, and the lighting is warm and inviting. The Thai food is superb ranging from wonderful and interesting soups to many delicious deep-friend preparations, and a bounty of seafood and vegetables. A visit is well worth the long commute from the city.
