Barker Valley Trails

Cleveland National Forest, Suite 200

About

These two different trails span approximately two and one-half miles. The first trail leads hikers on a steep descent into a valley, while the second offers a more gentle course. Both reach elevations of 5,700 feet. While traveling along the trails, you may encounter streams that have running water seasonally. The trails also feature views of the Palomar Observatory and an oak woodland surrounding. Call the forest supervisor's office for additional hiking information.
