Becks Bistro
Holbergsgade 22 Cuisines: FrenchAbout
Formerly the Dutch/Belgian diner Cafe Amsterdam, this eatery has been given a styish makeover to reopen in spring 2011 as Becks Bistro, an informal brasserie-style restaurant with 3-course as well as a la carte menus. Located below Kongens Nytorv, Becks is an ideal option for dining before a performance at the Royal Theater. Becks has continued the tradition of its former owners – and its regulars - for moules frites, or steamed mussels served with fries in very generous portions, as well as for offering bottled Belgian beer. Starters around DKK 85; Mains DKK 165-205. Open for dinner only; closed lunchtimes and Sundays.
