Bedsa Caves considered as Hinayana Buddhist caves are the oldest of all caves that belong to the 1st Century.Bedsa Caves are man-made, and comprises of two caves the Chaitya and the Vihara. Chaitya Cave, the main cave, is a prayer hall that treasures a beautiful Stupa. The 4 pillars in the cave, which are 25 feet high, are enhanced with the carvings of elephants, horses and bulls with male and female riders crowning the pillar. The ridged roof is supported by 26 octagonal pillars which are 10 feet high each.
