About

The Ernest Henry is a beautifully restored 4 star, two bedroom lodge in a converted courtyard building here at Belan, which used to be a farm machinery store and tool shed. It is named after the Arctic Explorer Ernest Henry Shackleton, from nearby Kilkea, who would've frequently spent time here as a boy, when exploring his uncle Richard Ebenezer's farm here at Belan, when on family visits. The Lodge is very spacious, and contains two large bedrooms with a double bed and a single bed in one, and a king sized bed in the master bedroom with a door opening onto a verandah, overlooking the yards, laneway and fields, also a bathroom and landing. Downstairs is a hallway, toilet, bathroom and very generous kitchen/dining area. The standard of the finishing is of the highest standard.Further photos and info can be found at www.belanlodge.com
