Belfast Exposed is a dedicated photography gallery, promoting contemporary work by Irish and International artists working in social comment.The Gallery also provides photographic training programmes, spacious B&W darkroom facilities an 8-person Mac digital suite, an extensive educational outreach programme and operates a Publishing Programme publishing two, sometimes three titles annually by artists working in Northern Ireland and further afield.Through training Belfast Exposed encourages local communities to use photography to record and understand their environment.Training and project opportunities include stand alone single day sessions to larger projects style programmes.The gallery provide hands-on experience in both 35mm and digital photography, giving participants practical photographic skills including location work, scanning images and negatives, training in using Adobe Photoshop, traditional processing and printing, editing and exhibition planning and promotional advice.Previous clients included projects for Team Building Days, skills development for organisations that use photography occasionally in their work, community centre based work and with individuals.Belfast Exposed offer a number of workshops for individuals providing participants with practical photographic skills including processing and printing, location work, digital photography (scanning and Adobe Photoshop), editing and studio portrait work.The gallery runs a number of one day courses on a Saturday and also offer a six week course in Advanced Portrait Photography.To visit the Belfast Exposed Gallery is free of charge and opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 5pm.Opening: Tues - Sat 11 am to 5 pmPrice Range: Costs start at £50 for a single person on a one day workshop and rise depending on the programme we put together with you.
