The Belo Horizonte Culture Center - CCBH occupies one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. The neo-Gothic building, Manueline style, was built in 1914, and its nearly one hundred years of existence, hosted important historical and cultural institutions of Belo Horizonte, as the board of the Capital, the Municipal Library, the first Radio City (PRC -7, Radio Mining), the inaugural class of the School of Architecture at the UFMG, City Hall, the Museum of Mineralogy Museum Prof. Djalma Guimarães and Brazilian Expeditionary Force. The building is listed by the State Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage of Minas Gerais (MG-IEPHA) and the board of the Cultural Heritage of the Municipality of Belo Horizonte. Since 1997, as part of the celebrations of the centenary of Belo Horizonte, houses the Center for Belo Horizonte Culture.
