This park has a diverse range of wildlife and is a mecca for local birdwatchers, as it also functions as the headquarters for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Nestling beside the river Lagan, the forest offers a variety of woodland and riverside walks, as well as a large arboretum. It used to be the estate of Lord Deramore, and it is secluded and unspoiled. By the way, it is pronounced "Beaver Park".
