About

HK's locals, including myself, shop at "cosmetic pharmacy stores" frqeuently, as they usually sell cheaper (around 10-20% cheaper) than cosmetic brands stores at department store, for the same products. I always purchase my Lancome eye make-up remover there! The two major "cosmetic pharmacy stores" (I have to use quotation marks because they don't sell medicine primarily, but the stores setup is very similar to the pharmacies you find in Japan or Korea) we go to are: 1) Sa Sa, 2) Bonjour. Both are publicly listed companies in HK and are legitimate. Both stores are chains with shops around all parts of HK, and sell a variety of cosmetic brands, from international to Korean/Japanese brands. They open early and close late. I walked past a BONJOUR store tonight and realised it is, right now, having a clearance sale until 31May, 2010 (I guess they have to close this one as they have another shop within 1 minute of walking distance). I went in and took some notes for fellow localytes, here are the information: DISCOUNTED BRANDS for this clearance sale: More than 50% off - Garnier, Biotherm, SK-II, L'oreal, Crabtree & Evelyn (I didn't have the time to check whether all products of these brands are on discount though, so it's worth a visit IF you happen to be around the area) SHOP INFORMATION: Store name: BONJOUR Address: G/F, 54 Yun Ping Road, Causeway Bay H.K Opening hours: 10:00 am - 11:30 pm Webste: http://www.bonjourhk.com/tc/default.aspx How to get there: - By MTR - F exit, Causeway Bay station. Alternatively, ask for where the cloest MTR station is after you get off from the taxi, you'll be able to find the shop just before you arrive the MTR station entrance Happy Shopping!!!!
