Boombox Cafe is a young people's hangout place - basically a sheesha lounge where you can chill out with friends. There are lots of nooks and corners in this double-storeyed restaurant, including a second-floor lounge with sunlight streaming in and a terrace outside. There are also spaces that are so dark you'd have difficulty seeing the back of your hand! The food menu is ambitious: street food from all over the world. There's only one problem: it all tastes desi, from the Iranian Joojeh Kebab with 'saffron' flavoured rice, to Nasi Lemak. And the Bhelpuri doesn't taste desi enough! Boombox Cafe is more about the mood and less about the food, it would seem..
