Brahma Kund is a piece of art, which is situated on the top of the hill and is 20 km from Alibaug. There are two popular kunds at this place, the Shiva pool and the Brahma pond.Brahma Kund is a rectangular shape tank, surrounded by steps from all the four sides.It is believed that the kund was constructed in 1612. As per mythology, Lord Krishna was bathed by Lord Brahma, who later collected the water and created this pool. The kund also attracts tourists for a small Maruti mandir and a statue of Mirchi Baba.
