Bramston Beach

Just the drive in from the highway is a pleasurable experience. The route takes you past canefields, over the winding Russell River and into lush tropical rain forests which are inhabited by cassowaries. It all prepares you for the relaxed atmosphere you'll find at Bramston Beach. As you enter the beach precinct, your first experience is a "green" once, for the road is flanked by tropical gardens planted by the locals. Then as you approach the unspoiled beaches, you see off-shore island shimmering in the haze.
