About

Brickfield Park is a Dublin City park, located between the Crumlin Road and Mourne Road and to the north of the well known Iveagh Ground. It extends to 11 hectares (27 acres), the park was developed in the early 1970's getting its name from a brickyard located there during the 1930's. Developed mainly as a sports ground in a heartland of soccer, there is also and all-weather pitch and a well-used children's playground both of which were added in the 1990's. A main avenue of lime trees and the extensive perimeter plantations are now becoming well established.
