Buona Sera at the Jam

Chelsea Cuisines: Italian

About

Buona Sera at the Jam should win a prize for maximizing use of a very small restaurant area. A two-tiered arrangement allows diners the choice of eating on the ground floor or with a bird's eye view of this friendly restaurant. Apart from the wooden booths, little other decoration fits into Buona Sera - thus the additional name of 'the Jam'. The clientele tends to be mainly young tourists and Chelsea locals, but the novelty factor is a clear winner for the restaurant. The menu offers both pastas and a selection of risotto at inexpensive prices, and specials change daily. The service is friendly and attentive, and the wine list offers a good selection. Buona Sera offers excellent value all round.
