Burma Bazaar is located right next to the Chennai beach railway station. The market was established by Burmese immigrants who fled Myanmar during the early sixties. It is a row of about 200 shops that line either side of the road for about a kilometre. With over 100 shops in a row selling software, electronics, perfumes, and other goods. This place is well-known for items at very cheap prices.
