The Mamusia is locally renowned for its delicious chocolates and pastries. The atmosphere is somewhat like a tearoom or ice-cream parlor, but there are delicious sandwiches, served on homemade bread, and full meals throughout the day as well, including typical Chilean favorites such as pastel de choclo and escalopas, as well as lasagna, pizza, and grilled meats and fish. Café Mamusia is also a good place for breakfast and serves a continental version for $5 (£3.30).
