This friendly cafe is found in the regenerated Islands Brygge area, not far from the Gemini building and the Bryggebro footbridge. Located in an old basement that was once an antique dealers filled with porcelain knick knacks, the neighborhood cafe has pictures of the owner's family on the walls and a cosy sofa corner. It's frequented by local families and younger guests who appreciate Alma's local, informal vibe as well as the big breakfast and brunch plates. On weekdays, the busy weekend brunch buffet is replaced by a full breakfast special for DKK 120 including fresh fruit juice right up until 1.30pm. Lunch dishes start at DKK 85; the cafe's specialty burger (DKK 125 incl. fries) is especially popular.
