Things have changed for the better since 'Zum Hähnchen' became 'Saffron's' seven years ago. Instead of the rough and ready characters who would loiter around Hähnchen's drinking beer and schnapps, there is now an young, diverse group of regulars. Olaf Saffran and Carsten Garitz run a great team of young staff. The service is impeccable and the menu offers delicious, unique and varied dishes at a reasonable price. Jazz, soul and funk are played.
