About

Being named the biggest skatepark in Australia is a big ask but Cairns skatepark seems to have it all and a bit more. As soon as you start to get close you know there is something special about this place, the path ways leading into it are all built for skateboarding and create multiple street spots with some amazing ledges and gaps. The park also features a small 4-5ft clover bowl and a big bowl with an over vert corner, half pipe section and a vert wall ranging from 8ft -10ft, topped with pool coping that snakes between the 6 and 7ft sections. To top all of this off there is also a massive cradle. Combine all of the above for unlimited tranfer lines and speed lines. Oh, and at night the lights come on, which is probably the best time to skate as during the day it can get a little too hot.
