About

This buzzing family-run restaurant has caused evening queues on this corner for 10 years. It does not take reservations nor does it run to waiters. You are given a slip to write down your choices yourself. The menu features Cambodian home cooking with steaming soups and warming bowls of meat, rice and vegetables. Bobuns, with rice noodles, beef or extra shrimps, all come garnished with peanuts, coriander, onions, beansprouts and shredded carrot and cabbage, while soupe Phnom-Penh with pork and prawns has a side dish of beansprouts, chilli and lemon for you to mix in yourself. Among the several fish dishes is Poisson au gingembre: steamed cod with ginger and shallots on a bed of tomatoes and the inevitable beansprouts.
