Dunedin fashion designer Tanya Carlson arrived upon the Auckland scene several years ago to much acclaim. Unlike her funky neighbor, Karen Walker, Carlson's designs are traditional with a twist, often influenced by the opulent style and fabrics of the East. She creates beautiful day and evening wear using specially imported fabrics and trims to enhance her classically elegant yet undeniably modern designs.
