Castle Hill (Colline du Chateau)

Even in December, beautiful sweeping views of the city, the Alps and the Med.  On a sunny day, take the steps up 100+ so be prepared for walking to Castle Hill and enjoy the views, the clean air and a bit of history.  Delights for all types of travelers: playground, inlaid stone detail, historic site, breathtaking views.  Lots of park benches are available and a small cafe  with limited hours  for a refreshment or snack.
