The Centre of Contemporary Arts Cairns is a significant piece of arts infrastructure developed by the Queensland Government and operated by Arts Queensland. It comprises two performance based venues, The Theatre (238 seat black box theatre) and The Space, (a large flexible open performance and rehearsal space), two international standard A-class galleries, gallery shop, studio, and office accommodation for small to medium funded companies JUTE Theatre Company and KickArts Contemporary Arts.
