I was the first customer on the first day of business for this cozy, upmarket eatery on Mohandiseen's biggest and least attractive street. The place is all about steak, and though they also serve some of the best pizza in town, it's the meat that keeps the customers coming back for more. All the meals start with an excellent mixed salad topped with a light dressing and fresh bread baked daily on the premises. My favorite entree is the tournedos, grilled rare, with a side of mustard sauce and a baked potato; cuts come from the best butchers in town. If red meat's not your thing, they also have excellent grilled shrimp. Dessert selections vary, but all tend to be good. The lemon tart, usually present on the menu, makes an excellent choice, followed by a café correto.
