Chaunsath-Yogini Temple

One of the most important Chausanth Yogini Temples from all over India, this temple is situated in Hirapur, about 15 km away from Bhubaneshwar. Set in the middle of swaying fields, this circular temple is surrounded by a small garden, making it a great place to relax. The basic temple architecture depicts all the 64 yoginis with their vahana (vehicle) set atop a small platform about 2 feet high. Marvellous as it may sound, each of these 64 yoginis are depicted in breathtaking detail and accuracy.
