Chhatta chowk bazaar is believed that some 300 years ago,  Chhatta Chowk Bazaar build under the rule of Emperor Sher Shah accommodated the luxury trade of the royally household, and traded rugs, exquisite carpets, jajams and shatranjis, quilts, takia-namads, shahtus, pashmina shawls, brocaded costumes, velvet pardahs etc. Today its known as 'Meena Bazaar' which is quite a famous and renowned name in many of the bollywood flicks and songs.
