The China Inn Cafe and Restaurant is also an antique shop. With its three-in-one configuration, it's sometimes hard to differentiate where one thing ends and the next one begins. You enter the beautifully-restored building through the shop, where you can buy (or simply admire) lacquer figures, textiles and Chinese traditional handiwork. Keep walking towards the back of the building and you'll reach the courtyard, where the restaurant is located. Popular with expats, the China Inn is a well-guarded secret, so don't expect crowds of rowdy tourists --A huge plus in a busy town like Phuket. Dishes include both Chinese and Thai offerings such as red duck curry and tamarind fish. The drink list goes from wines to cocktails to fresh smoothies and fruit juices.
