This enduring, busy establishment -- decorated in the typical style of a 1950s American Chinese restaurant -- serves a good range of noodle, vegetarian, beef, chicken, duck, and fish dishes. The soups are rich and filling. Dim sum and lemon chicken are good selections, as are the duck and veal choices at the top end of the price list, but dishes tend to be rather sweet. The Asian staff (adorned with yarmulkes) is very helpful
