The Chugchucaras Tradicion Restaurant is a very confortable place, where you can find all type of Ecuadorian food. It's not only one type of food like "Chugchucaras" that is the specialty of our sierra, specificly in Latacunga a close city to Quito, going south. This specific meal is coumpound of a variety of produce like pork fried meat, cooked potatoes, "cueros" a fried part of a pork, cooked corn, paties, and it has all the products that you can plant and raise in the sierra, specially corn. You can find different types of soups like "Caldo de patas" that includes a very sustancious soup that use part of the feet of the cows, but of course very well coocked and seasoned. It really tastes delicious and it's healthy. Another good thing of the restaurant is the size. It has different areas to eat, in a two story house. You can seat next to the BBQ area that is open for a lunch with your friends. The quality of the food is excelent, always fresh and with the same taste. If you want to try different kind of plates, you just ask for it. It is an extensive variety of menus and you will be able to eat what you really want. If we talk about some enterteinment specially during the weekends there is live music, typical from our country. Normally the trio or the group walks around the place to make all the clients feel the emotion of our romantic music. If you have any preference about a song, you can always ask for it. Regarding the prices, are in a middle level so you can eat with around $15 per person. That is a good number.
