Cipriano

Edificio de Sevilla, Av. Playas del Duque Cuisines: Seafood, European

About

Serving the finest food at the port, this deluxe restaurant is the number-one choice of the rich and sometimes famous who arrive in Puerto Banús on multimillion-dollar yachts. Near the beach, it's in a modern building, like everything else at this posh port. Cipriano is divided into several sections for maximum privacy. Each is luxuriously decorated in an Andalusian style, with lots of elegant fabrics and many colors. There is a casual, semiformal atmosphere among the well-heeled guests. We recently dined here with a princess from some long-forgotten kingdom in Eastern Europe who demanded that all the table order lobster with champagne and green peppers. Although that dish was terrific, we can also highly recommend the paella Cipriano and the medley of shellfish. You can also order a perfectly grilled, tender entrecôte in a zesty pepper sauce, followed by one of the freshly made desserts of the day, such as baked apple with cinnamon ice cream.
