Also within 45 minutes drive are ten championship golf courses including Rosses Point, Strandhill, Murvagh, Slieve Russell, and the new Nick Faldo designed Lough Erne Golf Resort in Enniskillen. Fishing enthusiasts have a choice of three lakes within 20km of Glenfarne, namely Lough Erne, Lough Macnean and the highly acclaimed Lough Melvin. Walkers are attracted to Glenfarne by the numerous mapped walks in the vicinity. These vary from short walks in the local forest to the more daunting walks in the mountains. A number of walking weekends are held during the year and more information can be obtained by telephone. The more adventurous can go underground and explore the complex cave networks. Other attractions in the proximity are the Organic Center in Rossinver, the Marble Arch Caves in Florencecourt, the Shannon-Erne Waterway, the Kingfisher Cycling Trail, and the Cavan Way guided walks.
