Pozoblanco is a tribute to the people of the area. After years of playing monthly golf tournaments on a rustic, grassless layout they convinced the town and regional authorities to finance the construction of Spai´s first municipal golf course. Carlos Luca de Tena designed the course which is mainly flat although it follows the contours of the Cabezoliva nature reserve within which it is located
