The walk takes you through some of the most scenic areas of Auckland from the waterfront to Onehunga. It is 16 kilometres long (about 4-6 hours of walking) and takes you past Mt. Eden and One Tree Hill, two important volcanic cones within the city. You will need plenty of sunblock and a hat due to our strong sun and also lots of water although you will never be very far from a dairy (local small shop).To find out about buses to or from Onehunga ask at the Britomart Station or Tourist Information in town.
