About

The typical decoration, with agricultural characteristic pieces and other iconic elements, reminds one of the best of the Alentejo, one of the most emblematic Portuguese regions. The Cocheira Alentejana—literally, "Alentejo's Stall"—has some of the best dishes that represent the region. Açorda de Gambas (shrimp bread pudding) or the Ensopado de Borrego (lamb stew) for main courses, and the Encharcada de Ovos (sweet eggs) for dessert are excellent options to enjoy a typical southern Portuguese meal miles from the region and right in the middle of Lisbon.
