Conwy Castle is located in the medieval walled town of Conwy in North Wales and is open to the public as a visitor attraction throughout the year. The castle is almost unique in the fact that the old town walls remain almost entirely intact and can still be walked on today. Considering the military action it has seen over the years the castle remains in a remarkably good state of repair.The castle consists of a large curtain wall built on a natural rock formation lending it natural height above the town. The wall consists of eight circular towers with four smaller towers providing further height.
