As I said above you can divide Copacabana into section, and POSTO SEIS is perhaps themost interesting part of Copacabana Beach, for several reasons, this is the part of the beach closer to another fascinating beach, Ipanema beach, more residential oriented and also it has the best bars and discos in the city. Another cool reason that you should stay in this area is safety, it is close to a military fortress which also opens for the public, inside you can enjoy many different views of the Ocean including the Sugar Loaf. There is a very traditional fishemen association in the end of the beach where you can buy fish every morning! And more other facilities like shops, restaurants, cinemas, theatres and discos! And also more than 5 groceries! The easier way to identify this area is spotting the Fortress in the end of the beach!!!
