Based in the tranquil village of Ballinahown, County Westmeath, Core Crafted Design is situated near the ancient monastic college of Clonmacnoise. Core Crafted Design is housed in an old schoolhouse where the original style of the building merges easily with the contemporary design of the new outlet to create an apt showcase for the largest selection of craft designers, artists and creatives in the midlands. The outlet is spearheading the growth of craft and design in the area, by facilitating makers in showcasing their designs while also arranging demonstrations and craft classes for those interested in exploring their creative talents.An extensive range of locally produced crafts, including ceramics, jewellery, paintings, glasswork, paper, woodwork, textiles, and metalwork is on offer. The aroma of freshly ground coffee and the temptation of locally baked artisan food from the Core café is also on hand to provide respite after an afternoon's browsing.Core Crafted Design caters to all markets including corporate and general gifts as well as wedding gifts.
