Corroboree Billabong is part of the Mary River Wetlands which are teaming with birds and also have the largest concentration of Saltwater Crocodiles in the world.The birdlife here is also fantastic with many different species present. The main target of the cruise was saltwater crocodiles and whenever one was seen on the bank the boat stopped for passengers to get a good look and as many photographs as they wanted. Birds were almost as important as crocodiles.These wetland habitats provide an ecologically sustainable environment and are a paradise for birds, fish, crocodiles and other wildlife.
