The Cosi O Cosi Italian Trattoria has a fiercely loyal following in Taipei, and the owner goes above and beyond to maintain the quality of the dining experience, from the food to the atmosphere. The menu is kept small on purpose to insure each dish is up to standard, and the owner is very tight lipped when it comes to advertising to prevent too many people from lining up to get in. Even so, the two-story restaurant is packed on weekends. You can smell the fresh tomatoes, basil, and baking crusts right when you walk in. The service is impeccable with a well-trained and friendly staff. While Cosi O Cosi serves pasta and tapas, the made-from-scratch pizzas are really the stars here. Don't expect anything too fancy. The motto here is simple and quality.
