Craanford Mills is a unique early 17th Century watermill just four miles from Gorey in County Wexford. It has been fully restored to working order and is on view to visitors, with guided tours and wholesome food served in the kiln loft. The flagstone floors have been worn by 200 years of shuffling feet, the stairs creek in mild complaint and on one side of the room, sacks of freshly ground meal slouch against each other. Outside the mill wheel waits for the surge of water from the mill pond.Opening times:June and September: Weekends only.July and August: Open every day.Opening times: 11am -6pm.Groups anytime by appointment.
