Crock O'Gold

19 High Street Cuisines: English

About

This small, old style Irish pub serves modest fare for lunch and dinner in a central dining area. Irish stew, corned beef and cod make up an economically priced menu that has wide tourist appeal. Stone floors, Guinness memorabilia and lots of chat and craic make this a great place to spend an evening, though you won't hear many Irish accents. According to legend, if you can find the end of a rainbow you may just find a crock of gold waiting there for you. It is always worth a try.
