Another marvelously historic restaurant (dating from 1658), this one has low beamed ceilings, crackling fires in open hearths, lantern lighting, and a rough flagstone floor strewn with sawdust. It's a casual place with a traditional pub menu, including dishes like Irish stew, steaks, and seafood. On warm days, you can sit outside in the courtyard overlooking the friary.
