The Kharkiv Actor House is undoubtedly the leading modern theater center which is a home for about 13 theater and production groups. "Theater 19", widely known throughout Ukraine and Europe and beloved by locals, is also situated here. The House frequently holds various exhibitions and a theater festival (Kurbalesia). Its a wonderful place to spend an evening watching a play but if only you know Russian or Ukrainian :) But note that you should order the tickets in advance! (about a month before the performance)
