- By Air: Nearest domestic airport is at Pathankot about 80 km away. Jammu, around 180 km away, is better connected by flights. Pathankot is connected to Delhi only, while Jammu has more frequent air services to Delhi and other cities of north India.

Overnight luxury buses are available from Delhi (560 km).Since the services of taxis and buses are quite regular hence the tourists can easily reach to Dalhousie by roadways. Traveling to Dalhousie via road offers the tourists an opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the surroundings too.
- By Rail: Nearest railhead is Pathankot (80 km) which is well-connected to various cities in India, like Delhi, Mumbai and Amritsar. Taxis can be found from outside the railway station to reach Dalhousie.
